[Tiki-devel] Tracker field, field selector and order

Bernard Sfez-3
Hello,

On a Tiki 17 (default setting + trackers) I set a tracker for contact with a few fields.

On a wiki page I set a tracker plugin to create a form.
The selector fields show then so I can select the fields, but I can order them.
It seems the order is set alphabetically…

Is it on purpose ?

Re: [Tiki-devel] Tracker field, field selector and order

Jonny Bradley-4

I think that's kind of a regression, it's nice having the object selector to pick fields etc but no, as far as i know, you can't change the order of them.

I think even if you pick the fields in the order you want them something re-orders them later, so the only way to do it is in the wiki editor and just change the position of the field id's.

One for the wish list (not sure how we would do it though!)

Re: [Tiki-devel] Tracker field, field selector and order

… Well we had a plugin that worked properly using the plugin syntax and the using the plugin edit window.

Now we have a plugin that work using the plugin syntax but not using the plugin edit window.
Selecting the order you want the field to be display in a form seems to be a minimum requirement especially when you can’t do anything to change it (yes it reorder the field alphabetically).

It’s clearly a regression.
I will post a ticket but can’t it be reverted to the previous states ? (both working)
