[Tiki-devel] Nasty error with tracker item on trunk

Bernard Sfez-3
Hello,

Sorry I put this up in the list but tracker failure is a kind of critical imo.

I built an instance with a tracker and 10 items (Primary tracker) and http://bsfez-11581-6280.show.tikiwiki.org/tiki-list_trackers.php show that there is 10 items in this tracker.

One item is missing - "Jonny (Brexit problem :D)" (ok, ok, I shouldn’t laughed about this) :D :D :D
May be it is because of the "()" maybe something else.

The item is there and exist as I can select it from a item list field on another tracker (Secondary tracker) : http://bsfez-11581-6280.show.tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=2

Hope it affect only trunk.

Jonny Bradley-4

Fixed by setting Status -> Default status displayed in list mode to Open and Pending in the tracker properties.

If only Brexit was so easy to undo :)

lol :D

… Now how do I run in that issue is interesting.

I wanted to test on my local the issue so I recreate tracker, fields and imported the tracker item.
BUT as I didn’t need the tracker status in local I didn’t enable "Show status" in my local tracker.
However, the file I import in my tracker showed (status) so it was applied (without my knowledge)

Meaning;
Even if a tracker doesn’t have "Show Status" enable, status may be applied if it is part of the item (it was imported with status) ?

This shouldn’t be that way.

I also fear that it means that once you enable tracker status it will always be applied (filter criteria) even if you disabled it later.
(I had hard time to

Re: [Tiki-devel] Nasty error with tracker item on trunk

Jean-Marc Libs
In my experience, status is always applied. "Show Status" only does exactly what it says: it displays the status.

If space was not such an issue on our "table-responsive" tables, I'd say "show status" should be the default in the tracker admin pages.

Cheers,
J-M
