[Tiki-devel] Commit Fails

Brendan Ferguson
Hi,

quick question for you guys.

Im getting an error that says "Wrong committed revision number: -1" upon commit. I was using terminal to svn back and fourth through tiki history.... Not sure if that has anything to do with this.... Any ideas?

Re: [Tiki-devel] Commit Fails

Looks like SVN version mismatch to me. Maybe you used some IDE with different SVN version before doing that command line one and then going back it shows the error now?

Not seen that one myself - are you using phpstorm? If so this may be relevant

https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/207032595-SVN-Commit-always-shows-Wrong-committed-revision-number-1-

Personally, i would save any local changes as a patch, delete the working copy and re-check it out to be safe anyway i think.

Re: [Tiki-devel] Commit Fails

Brendan Ferguson
Thanks for the suggestions. I am really appreciative. I tried a bunch of things but nothing seemed to work.

Ya, I'm using phpStorm. I'm slowly being able to utilize more of its features. Wow I love this editor! It's not without its quirks though :(

I will try to get this issue fixed tomorrow so I can get back to fixing those wonky commits... in starting to wonder if it was phpStorm that caused those as well.

Re: [Tiki-devel] Commit Fails

Cloutier, Philippe (RESSOURCE EXTERNE)
Hi Geoff,
I would hardly see how this could have broken trunk, since the problem was making it impossible to commit changes.

Re: [Tiki-devel] Commit Fails

In reply to this post by Geoff - Enmore Services
Im sure the issue Jonny brought to my attention was the issue. A bug in phpStorm. https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-118571

There is no mention of it breaking the repository. Just a really annoying issue on my end.
